The Catalonia Portal de l'Angel hotel is located right in the centre of Barcelona, in the famous shopping avenue El Portal de l'Àngel.
The building, built in 1876 by Pedro Bassegoda i Mateu, was inaugurated in 1998 as hotel.Its façade has been kept intact and boasts an austere Neoclassical style with grafted romantic and barroque decorations On-site amenities include an Internet Corner, free wireless Internet access throughout the hotel, bar, laundry service and 24-hour front desk with all sorts of tourist information.
